MINNESOTA
My photographs focus on landscapes in a state of transition. Spanning from region to region, these areas are constantly evolving. These shifts provoke me to search these expanses and keep record of what is occurring.
The images I make are simultaneously creating a nostalgic feeling of what used to be, and an unsettled anticipation of what the future holds for these areas. I seek to convey not only what is obvious, but also what is absent and misplaced in these landscapes. I present a glimpse of how these landscapes reflect our current circumstances, cultures, mindsets and values.
